I work for a company that specializes in Black Box Engineering. This means that we have the ability to take something from concept to production. We have the designers in house to do any technical drawings that are necessary for the products completion. We then can produce either a prototype part or a prototype mold. Both of these we pride ourselves on providing the quick turn around time to allow the customer to see their final product. If the customer prefers, we can take the cad data and make a production tool right away. My company also has the facilities to sample these tools and also do the production runs for them. I am currently, one of three CNC Programmers at this company. I work not only with the tool shop to build the molds but also the project engineers and any one else that has a say in the project that I am working on.  I use the software SmartCam, but we are also in the process of getting MasterCam.  This will enable us to increase our productivity even more.

I graduated from East Tennessee State University. There I received my Bachelors Degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology. I also participated in many organizations such as, 4-H, SME, APICS, and was also a student worker.  I also received my Associates from there in Engineering Design Graphics Technology.

I currently live in southern western Michigan, where I share my home with my husband of 3 years and our dog. My husband also works in this area. We both enjoy living here.  With the many things to do and the wonderful people to meet, there is always things to keep you busy on the weekends and on vacations that are always too short.
