- Labview Program 1 This program detects
when either of two digital input push buttons have been pushed.
When one or both of the buttons are pushed the LED assigned to
the button will light up on the front panel of the Labview program.
- Labview Program 2 This program reads
an input from a potentiometer or a signal generator and graphs
the voltage on a graph and the saves the values to a file. When
the values are saved to a file the values are graphed very slow.
To solve this problem an on/off switch was placed in the program
so values will only be saved to a file when the user wants them
to be.
- Data collected from Program 2 These
are the values from program 2 that were saved and graphed during
lab.
- Labview Program PID Control This
program uses a PID formula to set a motor to a desired position.
To do this we Set Value to the desired value. The motor runs forward
or reverse until the potentiometer is at this Set Value. Data
was collected to see the effects that Kp, Ki, and Kd have on how
the motor drives the potentiometer to the Set Value. Charts were
made of the data. The control chart is
a chart of the values we used as controls Kp=-1, Ki=-.03, Kd=-.01,
and the Set Value was 3000. The Kp chart shows
the affect Kp has on the motor response to the set value (Kp=-1.5,
Set Value = 3000). The Ki chart shows
the affect of Ki (Ki =-.1, Set Value = 2000). The Kd chart shows
the effect of Kd (Kd=-.1, Set Value = 3000).
- A Really Fancy Pencil Dispenser
- John Dejong and I decided to do a pencil dispenser for our control
project. The report contains all the information for my part of
the project which consisted of the turn table, ramp, and the ladder
logic.
