OVERVIEW

BOOLEAN COMPUTER AIDED PROCESS PLANNING (BCAPP)

The author has been developing a new approach to process planning based on Boolean Algebra. The method is not suited to the detailed elements of the plan, but allows a very powerful tool for examining the process plan on a macroscopic structure. The technique allows major operations to be selected and chosen. Other planners that are expert in specific process areas are then used to fill in elements in a process plan.
