This directory 'io' acts as a central location for IO modules for the LPC. For the most part these focus on reading and writing to external IO.

Devices found under this directory include;

serial - this contains a serial IO module
network - this contains a network IO module
network_io - ethernet drivers used by the network and email clients
das08 - this contains modules for a metrabyte computer cards clone (the computer boards DAS-08)
devicenet - this directory contains modules for Devicenet interfaces
      ss5136dn - these are drivers for the SST cards
      cif - these are for the synergetics cards
email - a client program that can send email messages
terminal - a simple program that echoes keyboard commands to a global variable



NOTE DEVICENET: Both of these drivers require additional steps to install the drivers, see those directories for additional instructions.
