My Family

Family is one of, if not the most, important aspect in a young persons life. Even today where teachers and friends play an ever increasing role in the developmental process. The family is where we learn to deal with the personal issues that will come up in life, and to love and respect those close to us. In our families we learn how to love. We learn the ways we express ourselves, and the way we deal with those that we love.

This is my family. Who I love very much. This is where I was nurtured and learned my ways. This is the starter seed that created the person, the individual that is me. Look upon me and you will certainly see them. You'll see them in ways that are hidden to me, In ways I can't even imagine. Aspects of them will peek through in all the stages of my life, wanted or otherwise.

My father This is my father Robert Flanders. He grew up in Battle Creek Michigan. He just retired from the Army Corp. Of Engineers and spends all his time out in the garden. He is a quiet, intelligent man. Not prone to displays of affection even though I know he loves us very much.

My mother This is my mom Betty. She grew up right here In West Olive MI. She works at Walters Gardens in Zeeland. She is one of the most loving people I know.

My sister My sister Jen. What can I say about her? I don't know, we have always gotten along pretty well ... sorta. We'd have our fights like all brothers and sisters, but at times we could actually be pretty civil twards each other.
