We all have to make a living...
| In order to pay the bills, I have to work full time. I am a tool designer for American Seating. I have spent the last three years there. Before I was in tooling, I worked in R&D. This was fun and I was able to apply the information that I learned in school toward my job. It is a little different now, tooling is a different breed. You have to have excellent mechanical ability as well as common sense to complete your job. My main responsibility is to design weld fixtures, drill fixtures, trim fixtures, and gages. I also have to trouble shoot on the floor from time to time to get thing out the door. |
