Results and commentary submitted by Miss Jackie Wu, 2nd dan

                                FORM      FIGHT
Nicole Chambers     silver            gold
Brandon Nemeth      bronze       no place (really close, though...he was the 1st to fight)
Michael O'Toole       bronze        gold
Jennifer Kim             bronze        bronze
Matt Klingbeil           silver           gold
Jackie Wu                 gold            gold

Matt's fights were....interesting. the first guy he fought, he knocked out within the 1st 15-20 seconds. He did a spinning roundhouse + jumping backroundhouse combo right smack in the face.  The guy was ok, though.  Afterward, Matt was walking with a limp...dont' know why, looked like he was drunk :)

Brandon was an animal.   It was a close fight, and the other guy was a bit crazy.  Overall, Brandon did really well.  I didn't get to watch the entire thing, though because I was watching Jennifer and Nicole's fights.  Brandon hurt his knee somehow.  He was walking with a limp as well.

Jennifer had to fight this "big" girl, since there were no weight divisions.   It wasn't really Jenny's day, because she wasn't feeling well.  Poor her.   But she did well.

Nicole fought before Jenny did.  Both of Nicole's opponents were bigger than she is. (party when nicole reaches 100 lbs!!!) she got some good points in.

I didn't get to see much of Michael's fight, but what I saw of it, he was tearing the other guy apart. Got kicked in the butt, though, I think.  He said his butt hurt.

I...dont' know how my fight went.  I did a jumping backside in the 2nd round for Nicole, though, cuz she wanted me to :) it was a little low (i got her in the hip) so i don't think it was a point.  Before the fight, she was bragging about her gold medals from previous tournaments. I just sat there and listened.  After the fight, I apologized for breaking her streak.  She was alright w/ that.  She's very nice.

So now we all get to go to AAU Nationals and the Jr. Olympics. For AAU, nationals is end of June-beginning of July, in Iowa. AAU Jr. Olympics is end of july-beginning of August, in Columbus, OH.

that's all for now! luv ya,
jackiewuwu!!
